Detector CCD per la Ricerca

Photonic Science produce telecamere CCD per raggi X, raggi UV, spettro visibile e vicino infrarosso. Le telecamera sono tutte raffreddate tramite stadi Peltier, buon rapporto segnale rumore ed un costo non eccessivo. Segue un elenco delle tipologie principali di camere disponibili:

CCD per raggi X:

Sono disponibili vari modelli, uno dei più interessanti è il VHR 3x1 X-ray Camera che utilizza 3 diversi sensori CCD, ognuno con 4008x2672 pixels, per raggiungere una risoluzione elevatissma pari a 33 megapixel e un'area attiva di 250x125mm con dimensione del pixel uguale a 31 microns. Le immagini provenienti dai tre sensori sono apportunamente elaborate per fornire una immagine finale uniforme in 1.1 secondi. Sono presenti diverse utilità nel software come l'auto flat field e la offset correction. Sono disponibili molte altre tipologie di CCD, con risoluzioni ridotte, con tubi di fosforo o intensificate. Di seguito ne riportiamo una breve descrizione e la relativa documentazione tecnica:

VHR 3x1S: 4008 (h) x 5344 (v) CCD array, Input pixel size: 31.18 x 31.18 microns, 124.96 x 166.14 mm (tiled array), 1.8 fps at full resolution @ 20 Mhz, 12-bit digitisation, 16-bit extended dynamic range.
